Who We Are

The CharterChoice Collaborative School Food Authority offers charter schools an option to procure food services and healthy meals outside of their district School Food Authority (SFA). CharterChoice manages schools’ food service programs by providing all of the administrative support so that they may operate food programs safely and in compliance with state and federal regulations.

In return, charter schools receive reimbursements for every compliant meal served. The schools we serve are diverse: small and large, elementary, middle and high schools, and those with varying socio-economic demographics. Schools in our collaborative may offer breakfast, lunch, after care snack, supper, and/or the fresh fruit and vegetable program.
